“Buy less, choose well.” — Vivienne Westwood
My husband and I wanted to get inspired for the new year, and what better way than to take a day to explore Williams Sonoma at Victoria Gardens? We found so many inspiring pieces and are ready to start decorating for spring! Come on our visit with us and ring in the new year.
First Impressions

The outside of this store is even better in person; it feels so classic and makes me feel like I am in New York instead of California. I love California, but here in Southern California, you don’t get much snow, or cold, or anything that resembles a season, really. The first thing you see in the window is a sneak peek of their mixed metals collection. So gorgeous just from looking in through the glass.
One of the first pieces that they have showcased is their mixed metals air fryer. It is so chic; the brass and gold accents are so elevating. I hadn’t seen a piece like this in a while, so I was playing with all the knobs and closing my eyes, imagining this in my kitchen! Unfortunately/fortunately, we just bought a new toaster oven, but alas, it did not have gold accents. Oh well.
Coffee Machines

Ahhhh, yes, the infamous espresso machine strategically placed right beneath the glow of the storefront window. I don’t even like espresso, yet the machine calls to me. I find this mixed metals collection so timeless… but definitely not priceless. Let’s just say I don’t have a spare $1600 right now. And boy, were they selling these machines. A super sweet employee offered to make us a shot of espresso and talked with us about coffee for probably 30 minutes. I will say Williams Sonoma employees are very hands-on. You get an experience if you are looking for one.
They had an entire wall of coffee machines, espresso machines, and accessories. This Nespresso machine caught my eye; I think it’s so beautiful even though there are no gold accents. Side eye.
Great Finds

Alright, yes, half of these pictures I took while looking at the price tag. Don’t judge me. But $30 is very fair in my opinion, so maybe I was just pleasantly surprised. I have been looking for a new apron, and there was no shortage here. If you are looking for something new, they have a ton of styles here. Well, at least like ten, which is still a lot.
Why did I take a picture of this pizza oven? Maybe because I really want a pizza oven after seeing this one. They have at least ten different designs, but this one was so sleek, and also the only one on display. I’m not sure where I would put it, but I have big dreams of camping on the beach and making outdoor pizzas now.
Luxurious Dining

Williams Sonoma has such beautiful glassware. I am always drawn to the glamorous light-up shelving full of bright, perfect glasses. We don’t even have a full dining glass set yet. But at least we have five different seasonal plate sets. Right?

The Lunar New Year display was very pretty in person, but I love the display on their site online; it’s even better. We bought the table runner, napkin set, and spoon rest. The quality is amazing, and I have a feeling they will last me many New Year’s. I have been inspired to start decorating for Lunar New Year earlier next year so I can have the New Year be less Christmasy and more Lunar-y. We will try it out and see if we even have the energy to decorate that early!
If you are looking for a new Le Creuset pot, we found the most gorgeous blue color! It’s absolutely beautiful in all lighting and so timeless. I especially love the red and blue pots; they are perfect. I still have my eye on these.
I wanted this apron so badly! The royal blue with gorgeous koi fish and gold dragons makes it such a statement piece. Its material feels so good, and the stitching looks like it was made to be a quality garment. This is definitely on my radar, and I hope I make the splurge soon.
Saying Goodbye

After a long day, we got some boba at a nearby pop-up and headed home. It was getting dark fast—thanks to the time change. But we had such an amazing day at Victoria Gardens, even though it went by so fast.
When we got home, my cat was upset she couldn’t come along. So, she made it known that next time she would be expecting an invite! Thank you for coming along with us. I hope you enjoyed the trip and gained some inspiration for your upcoming shopping trip!
