“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.” – Buddha
If you think MacKenzie-Childs is just for the kitchen, think again! I came up with my top styling perspectives for this set, including how I repurposed a kitchen canister into a chic jewelry case—to help you get more life and beauty out of your favorite investment pieces. These are my five fresh ways to style the Sterling Check for 2026!
Poolside Luxury
Today, I’m taking my favorite MacKenzie-Childs Sterling Check collection outside for a day by the pool. I’m using the creamer as a poolside bud vase for fresh roses; it pairs perfectly with my sugar bowl to add a little extra sweetness to my lemonade. The Squashed Pot is a stylish spot for my sunglasses and jewelry. Why should they be left on the hard rocks?

Simple Rose Garden Vase
I wanted to bring a little bit of my garden into my kitchen and celebrate spring coming into full bloom. I decided to use the sterling check creamer since it was the perfect size for some of my bloomed roses. It is important to cut your roses to make them grow back even bigger, which works perfectly for indoor decor! You can read more about my roses in my post on how I care for them and my full collection.

Elegant Lunar New Year
The grey and white of the Sterling Check is the perfect neutral to make red Lunar New Year decor look sophisticated. With the bright reds of the lunar new year, your space can start to need a little grounding, which is why now is the perfect time to bring out the squash pot and spoon rest. They bring a heaviness and elegance that seems to say ‘we belong at every occasion.’

Timeless Tea Party Set
Because MacKenzie-Childs enamelware is heavy-duty steel, it’s actually perfect for outdoor use. I love eating outside (mostly drinking) and taking the time to make an old-fashioned tea party tablescape becomes so easy with a few good staple pieces. The tea kettle is a beautiful conversation piece.

Dinner or Diamonds
Who says kitchenware has to stay in the kitchen? Don’t let your gorgeous squash pot be forgotten between entertaining. Repurposing pieces is a lost art, and I always find inspiration in finding new uses for items I love. One of my favorite ways to use the Sterling Check Squashed Pot is actually outside of the kitchen! I moved mine to my primary bedroom vanity to serve as a high-end jewelry case. There is something so satisfying about the weight of the ceramic lid—it feels like a little treasure chest. When you invest in beautiful pieces, they can evolve with your home.
